Budget
As the main goal of this project is to give to the ARTISTS the opportunity to express themself fully with no restrinctions , following them with a "gentle" and "polite" and "generous" supervision, the budget proposal for the WHOLE project is quite simple to cast:
TOTAL BUDGET: 500.000,00 euros divided for 11 show + 3 special event = 35.700 euro ca. per event
# the BUDGET for EACH ONE of the 11 SHOWs (35.700 euro) includes:
- Production of the work (approx. 70% of the budget = ca. 25.000 euro)
- Transport ( approx. 20% of the budget = ca. 7.100 euro)
- material & equipment required (approx 10% = 3.600 euro, considering that almost in all the cases the artists have the technical equipment already included in their work)
NB: we have to remember that this is a draft of a proposal and every exhibition/event also has its own peculiar characteristics that need to be addressed separately in the formation of future guidelines.
# the BUDGET for the 3 special events (35.700 euro each) will be managed in this way:
>>> approx. 50% = 17.800 euro (Production of the one day-event inviting approx. 10 international performers) including:
- approx. 7.800 euro (transport, flights, accomodations for all the 10 performers)
- approx. 5.000 euro (500 euro production fee x each performer of 10)
- approx. 5.000 euro (material and equipment required for each of the 3 special events
>>> the last 50% = 17.800 euro of each ofthe 3 event's budget will be put together again (17.800 x 3 = 53.400 euro) and managed in this way:
TOTAL AMOUT OF the "RESIDUAL" BUDGET: 53.400 euro will be used for the museology (production, material & equipment necessary to create the "staging" of the path the VIEWER is going to follow like, for instance a light-installation room, a one-colour room, a sound-installation room that we will detail on the SECOND ROUND: "Oral interviews of those selected in the first round" )
# Curator fee:
As we are not running for money but for ideas (or to be more technical, for IDEALS), we agree on the proposal to receive 1.500 euro (each) as curator fee. Stated that, it will be up to you, as professional in this field, to possibly consider a different approach to the topic.
Sincerely,
Barbara Fragogna & Elisa Ganivet
